The City of Opa-locka Mayor and Commission Presents a Moment in Black History

A Moment in Black History is a two-part Black History Month celebration presented by the City of Opa-locka Mayor and Commission in partnership with Parks & Recreation. Events include a family-friendly Storytime with storytelling, trivia, and games at the Opa-locka Branch Library, and a Black History Showcase featuring singing, African performances, dancing, music, and more at Sherbondy Village. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Black history and culture.
